A promptbook is a collection of prompts that have been put together to accomplish specific security-related tasks in Microsoft Security Copilot. Each promptbook requires a specific input (for example, a code snippet or a threat actor name).
For example, the incident investigation promptbook can be used to generate an executive report for a nontechnical audience that summarizes the investigation. The threat actor profile promptbook is a quick way to get an executive summary about a specific threat actor.
Security Copilot comes with a set of promptbooks to help you quickly get started with prompting.
To get started with promptbooks:
Navigate to the Security Copilot home screen, then enter a “*” character in the prompt bar.
Select a promptbook from the list, such as “Threat actor profile”.
Fill in any required parameters, then select Run
