In the ever-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, Microsoft has taken a significant leap forward with the introduction of Copilot GPT Builder, a feature now included in Microsoft Copilot Pro. This innovative tool empowers subscribers to craft their own specialized versions of Copilot GPTs, tailored to their unique needs and workflows.
Customized AI for Every Need
The Copilot GPT Builder revolutionizes how professionals interact with AI, offering the ability to create custom Copilot GPTs for a variety of purposes. Whether it’s for specialized knowledge domains, streamlining specific processes, or enhancing productivity through reusable AI prompts, the possibilities are endless. Imagine a grocery shopping Copilot GPT that generates shopping lists from your meal plans or a Copilot GPT that produces a workout based on the exercises that have been recommend to you—this is now a reality.
For example, one that I’ve created for myself, and my family is called Health Chef, which when given a recipe will replace the ingredient list with more healthy options.
Ease of Access and Sharing
Accessible via copilot.microsoft.com or Bing.com/chat, the Copilot GPT Builder features a user-friendly interface that guides users through the creation, editing, and publishing of their Copilot GPTs. Sharing these AI tools is just as simple; with a custom link, anyone can use your Copilot GPT without needing a Copilot Pro subscription. Rest assured, as the creator, you retain full control over editing rights, ensuring your AI remains unchanged by others.
A Step Towards Democratizing AI
Microsoft’s commitment to democratizing AI is evident in this latest offering. By allowing Copilot Pro subscribers to design and share their Copilot GPTs, the company is fostering a community where AI becomes a collaborative and accessible tool for all.

With Copilot GPT Builder, users can not only craft their unique AI but also share it effortlessly.
If you don't have the link to a Copilot GPT, follow these steps:
On your computer, go to copilot.microsoft.com or Bing.com/chat, and sign in using your Microsoft account (such as outlook.com).
In the navigation pane, under Copilot GPTs, select See all Copilot GPTs. The All Copilot GPTs window opens and displays a list of GPTs that are available to you.

For creators who wish to restrict access, republishing the GPT as private is a straightforward process. The builder’s user-friendly interface ensures that any edits made to a Copilot GPT retain the original URL, allowing for seamless updates without disrupting access for current users. For those looking to restrict access, the option to unshare a Copilot GPT is also available.
