Copilot for Security and the Power of Use
Using the simple word allows you to better target both embedded and custom intelligence more directly and more efficiently.
In a recent post, I talked about how to use the System Capabilities feature of Copilot for Security to pinpoint the Microsoft Docs when prompting. This feature is not just for the Microsoft Docs but can be used for any of the integrated or custom plugins.
However, there’s also a prompting way to target the exact plugin. And it’s super simple and using this method can sometimes help cut down on response time.
For prompting in Copilot for Security, the word “use” is simple but powerful.
As you can see in the image, because I know that I have a custom plugin installed called MITRE ATT&CK Reference I employed the word “use” to tell Copilot for Security to skip trying to identify the best plugin and instead jump right to the plugin I directed it to.
In this case, my prompt of Use MITRE ATT&CK Reference and tell me about OS Credential Dumping, saved about 8 seconds and resulted in the response that included the data I know exists as part of the custom plugin.
