Someone who has been following along and creating their own personal chatbot using my Basic Steps to Create Your Own Simple Copilot asked me today if it was possible to give their Copilot a personal name so that they could use that name to solicit prompt responses.
The Azure AI Studio makes this easy. Just adjust the System Message to include a personal name. As you can see in my configuration in the next image, I’m giving myRodBot the name of ‘Marcy.’ No clue really as to why and really no significance - it was simply the first name that came to mind.
After redeploying the new configuration (Step 4 in Basic Steps to Create Your Own Simple Copilot), myRodBot now also complies with the name adjustment.
Let’s have some fun. Send me a screen capture or your Copilot’s given name on Twitter at @rodtrent. I’d love to see what you come up with.
