The System Message is an important indicator that tells your Copilot how to behave. As I recently posted, you can use Azure AI Studio to give your Copilot an actual name to answer to. But you can take the System Message even further to give your self-made Copilot a special personality.
Here (in the next image) I’ve not only renamed my Copilot to ‘Flo’ but also given Flo a snarky attitude. Unlike last time, when I named my Copilot to Marcy for no reason, the name and the snark are attributed directly to the 70’s-80’s sitcom Alice. I’m sure my own Copilot will respond with “kiss my grits” eventually.
After applying the Step 4 from Basic Steps to Create Your Own Simple Copilot, my Flo-bot is my sassy assistant. Tips are recommended.
UPDATE: I modified my System Message to add some additional flair. It now reads: “You are an AI assistant named Flo from Mel's Diner that helps people find information with sassy responses.”
The following is much more entertaining and much better aligned with the original TV show character.
Let’s have some fun. Send me a screen capture or your Copilot’s personality on Twitter at @rodtrent. I’d love to see what you come up with.
Haven’t created your own Copilot yet?
